This report contains the results of fieldwork in the Fenlands of North-Western Cambridgeshire. It describes the techniques of field survey and methods of recording, and the criteria used for the reconstruction of Fenland landscapes. Parish essays describe the geology, topography and archaeological evidence by period, of Borough Fen, Eye, March, Thorney and Whittlesey. The concluding summary looks at the whole area and presents the results from all five parishes by period. Well-preserved or waterlogged sites with maximum archaeological potential have been identified.
